Welcome Thank you for visiting my website and I hope you enjoy the images. I specialize in photography of nature with the hope that my images might help people appreciate the beauty of the natural world and realize that it needs to be protected for future generations.
As you view the images on my site, I would like you to think about two quotes. One is by Rachel Carson and asks, “One way to open your eyes is to ask yourself, What if I had never seen this before? What if I knew I would never see it again?”.
The second is by Lyndon B. Johnson, who once said, “If future generations are to remember us with gratitude rather than contempt, we must leave them something more than the miracles of technology. We must leave them a glimpse of the world as it was created, not just as it looked when we got through with it.” My wish is that these images in some small way help to make this happen.
Henry David Thoreau once wrote, “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” Photography for me has always been this solitary and personal pursuit to try and capture the natural world as I see it. I hope you enjoy my images as much as I enjoyed taking them…they are “Nature: Through My Eyes.
